Dedicated project 2015

For the last "Romanesque Night" of the 2015 season, Décor Sonore and KompleX KapharnaüM transform the Saint-Hilaire de Melle church (Deux-Sèvres) into a giant musical instrument and scenographic object with Camera Sonora.
A unique monumental sound and visual creation, the fruit of the collaboration of the two companies, which reveals in a new way the Romanesque church and its architecture.

During a week of artistic residency, a team of thirty musicians, acrobats, dancers, videographers, video-projectionists and technicians listen to the stone, scrutinize its memory and explore every corner of the Saint-Hilaire church: from the age-old, silent and motionless material construction, they will imagine a living sculpture inhabited by sounds and images, movements and light; a virtual monument already contained in the object but suddenly revealed, attested, and coming to increase it by an additional dimension, still unheard of.
